Biography
Bill Block is an American film producer. Born William Hunt Block on 2 April 1954 in New York City, he attended Columbia University. He began his career as a literary agent, later founding the InterTalent Agency and serving as head of West Coast operations at International Creative Management. He went on to found Artisan Entertainment and QED International.
Block served as CEO of Miramax from April 2017 to October 2023. His producing credits include District 9 (2009), Fury (2014), Bad Moms (2016), Dirty Grandpa (2016), Halloween (2018), The Holdovers (2023), The Beekeeper (2024) and Here (2024). He is married to actress and comedian Eugenia Kuzmina.
