Biography
Bonnie Curtis is an American film producer. Born in Dallas, Texas, she graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1988 with a degree in journalism. She began her career working with Steven Spielberg as a production assistant in the late 1980s.
Curtis's early credits include associate producer on The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) and Amistad (1997), and co-producer on Saving Private Ryan (1998). She served as producer on A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) and Minority Report (2002). Her first solo project was The Chumscrubber (2005). In 2011 she formed a partnership with Julie Lynn at Mockingbird Pictures, producing Albert Nobbs (2011), which received three Academy Award nominations.
Curtis shared the 1999 Producers Guild of America Award for Motion Picture Producer of the Year for Saving Private Ryan. She was inducted into the Texas Film Hall of Fame in 2015.
