Biography

Catherine Marie Thomas, also credited as Cat Thomas or Catherine Thomas, is an American costume designer. She graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1993 with a degree in fibre and began working in film in 1995 after an internship in the costume department at the Juilliard School in New York.

Thomas is known for her work on Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) and Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004), for which she received Costume Designers Guild award nominations. Her other credits include The Proposal (2009), The Heat (2013), Non-Stop (2014), Mr. Robot (2015–2019), Leave the World Behind (2023) and the forthcoming series Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed (2026). She has collaborated with directors including Quentin Tarantino and Robert Altman.
