Biography
Charlie Brooker is an English writer, satirist and television presenter. Born Charlton Brooker on 3 March 1971 in Reading, Berkshire, he began his career as a cartoonist and video game journalist before writing for comedy series including Brass Eye, The 11 O'Clock Show and Nathan Barley (2005).
He created the dystopian anthology series Black Mirror (2011–), writing the majority of its episodes, and has written for Dead Set (2008) and the Cunk on... series. Brooker has also presented review programmes such as Screenwipe and co-founded the production company Zeppotron.
