Biography
Chuck Ranberg is an American screenwriter, producer and playwright. He began his television career writing for the sitcom Kate & Allie in the 1980s, often in collaboration with Anne Flett-Giordano.
Ranberg wrote and produced for Frasier (1993) from 1993 to 1998, contributing to 16 episodes as a writer and serving in producing roles. The series earned him five Primetime Emmy Awards, including wins for Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series. He later wrote for Becker, Desperate Housewives and Hot in Cleveland, and created the series Encore! Encore! and It's All Relative.
In the 2000s Ranberg wrote the Off-Broadway play End of the World Party, which premiered at the 47th Street Theater in New York.
