Biography
Lori Kirkland Baker is an American television writer and producer. She began her career as a writer's assistant on Perfect Strangers and later wrote episodes of Jenny (1997) and Wings (1996–1997).
She served as a writer and producer on Frasier from 1998 to 2004, contributing to 18 episodes and holding roles including executive producer. She also wrote for and produced Desperate Housewives (2007–2009), Freddie (2005–2006) and Instant Mom (2013–2014).
Baker won a Primetime Emmy Award and a Writers Guild of America Award for her work on Frasier. She has taught comedy writing and production as an adjunct professor at the University of California, Los Angeles.
