Biography
D.W. Moffett is an American actor, also credited as Donald Warren Moffett. He began his career in Chicago stage productions before appearing in the original New York production of Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart in 1985 and a Broadway production of The Boys of Winter the same year. He made his feature film debut in Black Widow (1987).
His film credits include Traffic (2000), Thirteen (2003) and May December (2023), in which he played Tom Atherton. On television he has had series regular roles in For Your Love (1998–2002) and Switched at Birth (2011–2017). He played Bill Desmond in One Battle After Another (2025). Since 2017 he has been chair of the film and television programme at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
