Biography
Dan Romer is an American composer, songwriter and music producer. Born in New York City in 1983, he studied at LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and Purchase College. He is based in Los Angeles.
Romer's scores include Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012), Beasts of No Nation (2015), Stranger Things (2016, orchestral music), Luca (2021), Lilo & Stitch (2025), A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (2026) and Little House on the Prairie (2026). He also composed for the video game Far Cry 5 (2018) and produced pop singles including Christina Aguilera's "Say Something".
