Biography
Edward Keane (28 May 1884 – 12 October 1959) was an American film actor. Born in New York City, he appeared in more than 300 films between 1921 and 1955, often in supporting or uncredited roles as authority figures.
He is credited as Captain in A Night at the Opera (1935). Other appearances include It's a Wonderful Life (1946) as Tom (Bldg. & Loan), You Can't Take It with You (1938) as a board member, The Roaring Twenties (1939) as Henderson, and Sergeant York (1941) as Oscar of the Waldorf.
