Biography
Eric Zumbrunnen was a film editor. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in journalism and began his career editing music videos and short films.
He maintained a long collaboration with director Spike Jonze, editing the features Being John Malkovich (1999), Adaptation. (2002), Where the Wild Things Are (2009) and Her (2013), as well as earlier shorts and music videos. Other credits include John Carter (2012) and an episode of Mindhunter (2017). He won an ACE Eddie Award for Being John Malkovich and was a member of the American Cinema Editors.
Zumbrunnen was born on 4 November 1964 and died on 1 August 2017.
