Biography
Erran Baron Cohen is an English composer and trumpet player. He is a founding member of the world music group Zohar and has written scores for film, television and stage, including music for the Barcelona football club.
He trained in music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Goldsmiths, University of London. Baron Cohen is known for his long collaboration with his younger brother, the actor and comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, for whom he has composed the scores to Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (2006), Brüno (2009), The Dictator (2012), Grimsby (2016) and Borat Subsequent Moviefilm (2020), as well as the television series Da Ali G Show and Who Is America?.
