Biography
Gabrielle Stanton is an American television writer and producer. Born in South Orange, New Jersey, she graduated from Barnard College. She began her career in publicity before moving into screenwriting in the late 1990s.
Her early credits include story work on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993) and episodes of Farscape (1999). She joined the writing staff of Grey's Anatomy in 2005, contributing episodes including 'Who's Zoomin' Who?' and 'Much Too Much', and served as producer and supervising producer.
Stanton later wrote for Ugly Betty (2007), served as showrunner on Haven (2010), and worked on The Vampire Diaries (2009), The Flash (2014) and The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022). Her work on Grey's Anatomy and Ugly Betty earned Emmy nominations and Writers Guild of America awards and nominations.
