Biography
Georgie Glen is a Scottish actress. Born in Helensburgh in 1956, she studied graphic design at Glasgow School of Art before working as an assistant book designer at Thames and Hudson in London. She later trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and began her professional stage career at the Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich.
Glen has been a prolific supporting performer in British television and film since her debut in the late 1980s. She is known for recurring roles as Sergeant Jennifer Nokes in Heartbeat, history teacher Audrey McFall in Waterloo Road (2012–2015), and Miss Millicent Higgins in Call the Midwife (2018–). Film credits include Madame Baptistine in Les Misérables (2012) and Lady Fermoy in The Crown (2020). She plays Jean Charleson in the 2026 biographical drama Elsinore.
