Biography

Graham Beckel is an American character actor. He graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York and made his screen debut in the 1973 drama The Paper Chase as Ford.

Beckel is known for supporting roles in films including the L.A. Bartender in Leaving Las Vegas (1995), Detective Richard Stensland in L.A. Confidential (1997), L.D. Newsome in Brokeback Mountain (2005), and Lieutenant Graves in Nocturnal Animals (2016). His television credits include recurring appearances in series such as Battlestar Galactica, Heroes and Halt and Catch Fire.

He is the younger brother of the late political commentator Bob Beckel and has been married to Elizabeth Briggs Bailey since 1984.
