Biography
Hajime Koizumi is a Japanese cinematographer. He graduated from the Japan Institute of the Moving Image in 1945 and joined Toho as an assistant cameraman. He was promoted to cinematographer following his work on The Legend of the White Serpent (1956).
Koizumi served as director of photography on numerous Toho tokusatsu productions. His credits include King Kong vs. Godzilla (1962), Mothra vs. Godzilla (1964), Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster (1964), Invasion of Astro-Monster (1965), The War of the Gargantuas (1966) and King Kong Escapes (1967). He also worked on television series such as Ultraman Ace (1972–1973).
