Biography

Harry C. Bradley (born Harry Charles Bradley Cockrill) was an American actor. Born in San Francisco, he died in Hollywood in 1947. His screen career, almost entirely in uncredited roles, ran from 1930 to 1946.

Before films, Bradley had a long stage career, including a notable run as Father Whelan in the original Broadway production of Abie's Irish Rose. He appeared in more than 200 films, among them It Happened One Night (1934), Mr. Deeds Goes to Town (1936), Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939) and His Girl Friday (1940).
