Biography
Ioan Gruffudd is a Welsh actor. He began his career in Welsh television, including the soap opera Pobol y Cwm (1987–1994), and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art from 1992 to 1995.
Gruffudd became known for his portrayal of Fifth Officer Harold Lowe in Titanic (1997) and the title role in the Hornblower series of television films (1998–2003). Subsequent film roles include Lancelot in King Arthur (2004), Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic in Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), and Adam Lockwood in Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024).
