Biography
Jack Lothian is a British television writer and screenwriter. His credits include episodes of Shameless (2004) across series 5 to 11 and an episode of Skins (2007) in series 6.
He has written multiple episodes of Doc Martin (2004) from series 2 to 10, as well as work on Teachers (2004), Ashes to Ashes (2008), Strike Back (2010), Death in Paradise (2011), No Offence (2015), Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands (2016) and Who Is Erin Carter? (2023), which he created. He served as showrunner on Strike Back.
Lothian received BAFTA nominations for his writing on Late Night Shopping (2001) and for New Writer in 2004. He has also written short fiction and a graphic novel.
