Biography

Julie Rutterford is a British screenwriter. She wrote an episode of the series Life on Mars (2007), three episodes of Ashes to Ashes (2008–2010) and an episode of Hustle (2005).

She shared a BAFTA Award for Best Short Film for About a Girl (2001). Her earlier credits include scripting episodes for Brookside and radio work. She has also written episodes for Ripper Street (2013), Dickensian (2016), No Offence (2018) and the feature film A Boy Called Dad (2009).
