Biography
Jake Paltrow (born 26 September 1975) is an American film director, screenwriter and actor. He is the son of producer-director Bruce Paltrow and actress Blythe Danner, and the younger brother of actress Gwyneth Paltrow. He began his career directing episodes of television series, including ten episodes of NYPD Blue between 1997 and 2004.
Paltrow made his feature-film debut with The Good Night (2007), which he wrote and directed and which starred his sister. He later wrote, directed and produced the dystopian Western Young Ones (2014). His other directing credits include episodes of Boardwalk Empire (2013–2014) and Halt and Catch Fire (2016), the documentary De Palma (2015, co-directed with Noah Baumbach) and the feature June Zero (2022), which he also wrote.
