Biography
Jason Cahill is an American television writer and producer. He began his writing career on the series Two in 1996, then contributed scripts to ER and Profiler, where he also worked as executive story editor. He has written episodes for NYPD Blue and Surface.
Cahill served as executive story editor on five episodes of the first season of The Sopranos and wrote three episodes of the series: "Meadowlands" (season 1), "Boca" (season 1, co-written) and "Guy Walks Into a Psychiatrist's Office..." (season 2). He received a Writers Guild of America Award for Episodic Drama for "Meadowlands". He has also written for Fringe and Halt and Catch Fire, and worked as writer and executive producer on The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
