Biography

James Badge Dale is an American actor. Born James Badgett Dale on 1 May 1978 in New York City, he is the son of actress Anita Morris and actor, dancer and choreographer Grover Dale.

Dale began acting as a child, appearing as Simon in the 1990 film Lord of the Flies. He later played Chase Edmunds in the third season of the television series 24 and Robert Leckie in the HBO miniseries The Pacific. In 2006 he appeared as State Trooper Barrigan in Martin Scorsese's The Departed.

His other notable film roles include appearances in Shame (2011), The Grey (2012), Flight (2012), Iron Man 3 (2013), World War Z (2013), The Lone Ranger (2013) and 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016). He has also starred in the AMC series Rubicon.
