Biography
Janine Duvitski, also credited as Janine Drzewicki, is a British actress. Born Christine Janine Drzewicki on 28 June 1952 in Morecambe, Lancashire, she trained at East 15 Acting School.
She first came to national attention playing Angie in Mike Leigh's 1977 play Abigail's Party, which she reprised for television. Her television credits include Jane Edwards in Waiting for God (1990–1994), Pippa Trench in One Foot in the Grave (1990–2000) and Jacqueline Stewart in Benidorm (2007–2018).
Film roles include appearances in The First Great Train Robbery (1978), Dracula (1979), The Madness of King George (1994), About a Boy (2002) and The New World (2005). She voiced Old Pennicruik in the animated film The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim (2024). She is married to actor Paul Bentall; their daughter Ruby Bentall is also an actress.
