Biography
Jeff Mirza is a British actor and stand-up comedian. Born Jeffrey Mirza on 3 February 1964 in East London, he studied civil engineering at the University of Westminster before entering comedy in the mid-1990s. He has performed on the London circuit and internationally, including as the first British Muslim comedian to sell out shows in Saudi Arabia.
Mirza's screen credits include the role of Rafe Khan in Polite Society (2023), Gupta the Hindu Priest in Eternals (2021), Mr Shah in Blinded by the Light (2019), Zahid Khan in What's Love Got to Do with It? (2023), and appearances in True Detective (2014) as Veer Mehta and Fleabag (2016) as Shop Owner. He has also featured in Mogul Mowgli (2020) and No One Gets Out Alive (2021).
