Biography
Jeff Westbrook is an American television writer. Before entering television, he studied physics and the history of science at Harvard University and earned a PhD in computer science from Princeton University in 1989. He held academic and research positions, including at Yale University and AT&T Laboratories, before transitioning to writing for animation.
Westbrook wrote for Futurama (1999) and joined the staff of The Simpsons in 2005, where he has contributed numerous episodes as writer, teleplay writer and story writer. He has also written for series including Life on a Stick (2005) and Tripping the Rift (2004). He is a three-time winner of the Writers Guild of America Award for Animation.
He has received production credits on The Simpsons and served as executive producer on Spitting Image (2020).
