Biography
Joel J. Richard is an American composer and musician. Born on 13 April 1976 in Connecticut, he is best known for his scores for the John Wick film series, composed in collaboration with Tyler Bates.
Richard has contributed music to all four main John Wick films (2014–2023) and the spin-off Ballerina (2025). His other credits include the television series Quantico (2015) and films such as Books of Blood (2020) and Triple Threat (2019). In 2015 he completed the BMI Conducting Workshop for Film Composers.
