Biography
Basil William Iwanyk is an American film producer. He was born on 4 January 1970 in Teaneck, New Jersey. After working at Warner Bros. in the 1990s, he founded Thunder Road Films in 2000.
Iwanyk is best known for producing the John Wick franchise, including John Wick (2014), John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017), John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019) and John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023). Other notable credits include Sicario (2015), The Town (2010), Wind River (2017) and Greenland (2020). He is also a producer on the spin-off Ballerina (2025).
His films have collectively grossed several billion dollars worldwide. Iwanyk's father is Ukrainian.
