Biography
John Frink is an American television writer and producer. He graduated from Emerson College in Boston with a degree in creative writing.
Frink began his career writing for the sitcom Hope & Gloria (1995–1996) alongside Don Payne. The pair joined the writing staff of The Simpsons in 1999, contributing from its eleventh season onward; Frink has remained with the series as a writer and, since 2009, executive producer. He has co-written numerous episodes with Payne and written others independently.
Frink has received multiple Primetime Emmy Awards for his work on The Simpsons. The show's recurring character Professor Frink was named after him.
