Biography
John E. Gallagher was an American television director. He was born on 15 February 1958 and died on 2 March 2019.
He began his career in the mid-1980s as a production assistant on films including Born on the Fourth of July (1989) and State of Grace (1990), later working as an assistant director on titles such as Out for Justice (1991), The Specialist (1994) and Evita (1996). Gallagher directed episodes of series including Third Watch (2004–2005), ER (2006, 2008), Criminal Minds (2007–2011), The Good Wife (2010) and The Blacklist (as first assistant director, 2013–2018).
