John Legend is an American singer, songwriter and actor. Born John Roger Stephens on 28 December 1978 in Springfield, Ohio, he is credited on film and television under his stage name.
His acting roles include Keith in the musical La La Land (2016), voice work as Jim Posey in The Mitchells vs. the Machines (2021) and as himself in The Simpsons (2020). He has also appeared in Coming 2 America (2021), Between Two Ferns: The Movie (2019), This Is Us (2020) and Curb Your Enthusiasm (2007). Legend has additionally worked as a producer on several projects.
