Biography
John T. Connor is a cinematographer and former camera operator. He began working in the camera department at the age of 18 and progressed through roles including loader, assistant cameraman and focus puller before becoming an operator.
He worked on numerous feature films with directors including Tony Scott, David Fincher and J. J. Abrams. Notable credits as camera operator or assistant include Fight Club (1999), The Revenant (2015) and Top Gun: Maverick (2022). He received a lifetime achievement award from the Society of Camera Operators for his work as a technician.
Connor has worked as director of photography on television series including DAHMER – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (2022), SEAL Team (2022) and Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (2023), as well as on feature films such as Run the Tide (2016) and Meet the Blacks (2016).
