Biography
Jon Watts is an American film director, screenwriter and producer. He was born on 28 June 1981 in Fountain, Colorado, and studied film at New York University.
Watts directed the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). He also directed and co-wrote Clown (2014), Cop Car (2015) and Wolfs (2024). Watts provided the story and served as a producer on Final Destination Bloodlines (2025).
His other credits include directing episodes of the television series The Old Man (2022) and Star Wars: Skeleton Crew (2024). He is married to producer Dianne McGunigle.
