Jon Favreau is an American actor and filmmaker. He was born on 19 October 1966 in Queens, New York City.

As an actor he has played Happy Hogan in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films, including Deadpool & Wolverine (2024). He directed Iron Man (2008) and The Lion King (2019), and created the Disney+ series The Mandalorian (2019–2023).

Favreau served as director, writer and producer on the film The Mandalorian and Grogu (2026).
