Biography
Julian Richings is a British-Canadian character actor. He was born on 30 August 1956 in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, and trained in drama at the University of Exeter. After performing in the United Kingdom and touring internationally, he moved to Toronto in 1984.
Richings has appeared in numerous films and television series. He is known for roles including Alderson in Cube (1997), Bucky Haight in Hard Core Logo (1996), Three Finger in Wrong Turn (2003), Death in Supernatural (2005–), and appearances in The Witch (2015), Man of Steel (2013) and X-Men: The Last Stand (2006). He received a Genie Award nomination for his performance in The Claim (2000).
Richings is also active in theatre, having received Dora Awards, and continues to work in stage productions in Toronto, where he resides with his wife and two children.
