Biography
June Christopher is an American actor and voice artist. A native New Yorker who was also raised in Germany and Jamaica, she began her career as a stage actress in New York. She attended Barnard College at Columbia University, performed at the New York Public Theater, appeared in an off-Broadway production of Threepenny Opera, and was a member of the Negro Ensemble Company.
She toured in a production of Porgy and Bess in Germany and worked in television while based in Munich. Christopher later moved to Los Angeles, where she appeared in numerous television series and films including Misery (1990), in which she played the Anchorwoman. She is known for voice work in films such as Rain Man (1988), Tangled (2010), Frozen (2013), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Big Hero 6 (2014), Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and its sequel, and Incredibles 2 (2018).
