Biography
Ken Schretzmann is an American film editor. He is known for his work on animated features, including as editor on Cars (2006) and Toy Story 3 (2010) at Pixar Animation Studios, where he spent about twelve years.
Schretzmann earned a bachelor's degree from Syracuse University in 1982. He began his career with assistant editing roles on live-action films such as Men in Black (1997) before joining Pixar around 1999, initially as second editor on Monsters, Inc. (2001). He later edited The Lorax (2012), The Secret Life of Pets (2016), The Willoughbys (2020) and Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio (2022).
Schretzmann is a member of the American Cinema Editors and has received ACE Eddie Awards for Best Edited Animated Feature Film for Toy Story 3 and Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio.
