Biography
Kyle Eastwood is an American jazz bassist, composer and occasional actor. Born on 19 May 1968 in Los Angeles, California, he is the son of filmmaker Clint Eastwood. He studied film at the University of Southern California before pursuing a career in music.
Eastwood released his debut solo album From There to Here in 1998 and has since recorded several further jazz albums. He has composed or arranged music for multiple films directed by his father, including Mystic River (2002), Million Dollar Baby (2004), Flags of Our Fathers (2006), Letters from Iwo Jima (2006), Gran Torino (2008) and Invictus (2009).
His acting credits include small roles in The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976), Honkytonk Man (1982), The Bridges of Madison County (1995), J. Edgar (2011) and Summer Hours (2008).
