Biography
Laura Ballinger, also credited as Laura Ballinger-Gardner or Laura Ballinger Gardner, is an American production designer and art director working in film and television.
She served as production designer on the first season of the series Veep (2012), as well as on Girls (2012) and The Following (2013). Earlier production design credits include the films Speak (2004) and The Great New Wonderful (2005). As an art director or supervising art director she has worked on numerous features, including Brokeback Mountain (2005), The Fighter (2010), The Greatest Showman (2017), Joker (2019) and The Irishman (2019), and on the series Fallout (2024). She has received multiple Emmy nominations for production design and won one Primetime Emmy Award.
