Biography
Lauren Shuler Donner is an American film producer. Born on 23 June 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio, she studied film at Boston University, specialising in production and editing.
She began her career as a camera operator before moving into producing, with early credits including Mr. Mom (1983). She produced Dave (1993), Free Willy (1993) and You've Got Mail (1998), among others. With her late husband, director Richard Donner, she ran The Donners' Company.
Donner produced the X-Men film series and related projects, including X-Men (2000), X2 (2003), X-Men: First Class (2011), Deadpool (2016), Logan (2017) and Deadpool & Wolverine (2024). She has also worked in television as an executive producer on series such as Legion.
