Biography
Leslie Jones is an American film editor. She is the daughter of editor Robert C. Jones and granddaughter of editor Harmon Jones.
Jones began her career as an assistant editor, including on films directed by her father. Her early credits include independent films and Grumpier Old Men (1995). She co-edited Murder at 1600 (1997) and worked on The Thin Red Line (1998), for which she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing alongside Billy Weber and Saar Klein.
Jones has edited several films directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, including Punch-Drunk Love (2002), The Master (2012) and Inherent Vice (2014). Her other credits include Starsky & Hutch (2004), Little Fockers (2010), 20th Century Women (2016) and The Piano Lesson (2024).
