Biography
Lisa Albert is an American television writer and producer. Born in New York City, she graduated from Swarthmore College in 1981 with honours in English literature. She began her career in publishing before moving into television writing in 1986.
Albert has written for series including The Cosby Show, Murphy Brown, Living Single, Becker and Greek. She served as a producer on the first season of Mad Men (2007), supervising producer on the second, and wrote six episodes across the run. Her work on the series earned her three Primetime Emmy Awards and multiple Writers Guild of America Awards. She has also written for Halt and Catch Fire, UnREAL and Paper Girls.
