Biography
Loni Steele Sosthand is an American writer and producer. She graduated from Harvard University in 1997, where she wrote a novel as her honours thesis. Earlier in her career she wrote episodes of multi-camera family comedies including Lab Rats (2012), Dog with a Blog and Best Friends Whenever (2016). She co-created, co-wrote and co-produced the half-hour pilot Katrina for The-N.
Sosthand joined the staff of The Simpsons (1989) in 2021 as a story editor and has since worked as executive story editor, co-producer, producer, supervising producer and co-executive producer. She has written several episodes, including "The Sound of Bleeding Gums" (2022) and "Carl Carlson Rides Again" (2023), as well as the shorts The Simpsons in Plusaversary (2021), Welcome to the Club (2022) and Maggie Simpson in "Rogue Not Quite One" (2023). She won a Writers Guild of America Award for Animation for "Carl Carlson Rides Again".
