Biography
Louis A. Stroller, also credited as Lou Stroller, is an American film producer and production executive. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he trained at Nichols College of Business Administration and began his career in the late 1960s as a unit manager and assistant director on films including The Producers (1968) and Take the Money and Run (1969).
He joined Martin Bregman Productions in 1977, serving as executive producer and later vice chairperson until 1990, and has maintained a long association with Bregman on multiple projects. Stroller's credits include associate producer on Carrie (1976) and Badlands (1973), producer on Sea of Love (1989), Betsy's Wedding (1990) and The Bone Collector (1999), and executive producer on Scarface (1983), Carlito's Way (1993), The Rock (1996) and Snake Eyes (1998). He produced The Adventures of Pluto Nash (2002) and served as co-producer on Lara Croft: Tomb Raider - The Cradle of Life (2003).
