Biography
Luciano Vincenzoni was an Italian screenwriter. He was born on 7 March 1926 in Treviso, Veneto, and died on 22 September 2013 in Rome.
Vincenzoni wrote for around 65 films between 1954 and 2000. He is best known for his work on Sergio Leone’s Spaghetti Westerns For a Few Dollars More (1965) and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966). His other credits include The Great War (1959), Death Rides a Horse (1967), Duck, You Sucker (1971), Orca (1977), Raw Deal (1986) and Malena (2000). He was sometimes referred to as a “script doctor”.
