Biography
Mark Ivanir is an Israeli actor. Born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine (then Chernovtsy, Ukrainian SSR), he immigrated to Israel with his family in 1972. He trained at the École Philippe Gaulier in Paris and has lived in Los Angeles since 2001.
His film credits include Marcel Goldberg in Schindler's List (1993), roles in The Terminal (2004), Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005), The Adventures of Tintin (2011) and Johnny English Reborn (2011), and Dr. Wasserman in Emilia Pérez (2024). Television appearances include The Mentalist, Grimm, The Blacklist and Homeland.
In 2024 Ivanir shared the Mill Valley Film Festival Award for Outstanding Ensemble Performance for Emilia Pérez.
