Biography

Mary E. Vogt is a costume designer. Her credits include Batman Returns (1992) and Men in Black (1997). She has also designed for Hocus Pocus (1993), the Men in Black sequels, Crazy Rich Asians (2018) and Kong: Skull Island (2017).

Vogt grew up in Long Beach, New York. She studied fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan and later attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. She began her career with studio work at MGM and as an assistant costume designer before taking on lead design roles.

She collaborated with Bob Ringwood on the Catwoman costume for Batman Returns. Vogt has received Emmy nominations for her television work.
