Biography
Matt Chessé is an American film editor. Born on 27 October 1965 in San Francisco, he studied English literature at San Francisco State University before beginning his career in commercials and as an assistant editor.
He first collaborated with director Marc Forster on Everything Put Together (2000). Their subsequent work together includes Monster's Ball (2001), Finding Neverland (2004), Stranger Than Fiction (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008), World War Z (2013) and A Man Called Otto (2022). Chessé received an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing for Finding Neverland and is a member of the American Cinema Editors.
