Biography
Matthew Cannings is a film and television editor. His credits include episodes of the series Andor (2022–2025) and Black Mirror (2011–2025), as well as the feature films The Girl with All the Gifts (2016) and The Last Right (2019).
He has also edited Brexit: The Uncivil War (2019), The Agency (2024) and episodes of Peaky Blinders (2013). Earlier in his career he worked as an assistant editor on series including Doctor Who, Life on Mars and An Education (2009). He has received nominations for RTS Craft & Design Awards and Emmy Awards.
