Biography
Matthew Jensen is an American cinematographer. He was born in Indiana and grew up in Northern Virginia. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California film programme and became a member of the American Society of Cinematographers in 2013.
His credits as director of photography include the series Game of Thrones (2011–2013), The Mandalorian (2019–2020) and The Boroughs (2026), and the films Chronicle (2012), Filth (2013), Fantastic Four (2015), Wonder Woman (2017) and Wonder Woman 1984 (2020). In 2021 he won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series for an episode of The Mandalorian. Variety named him one of its “10 Cinematographers to Watch” in 2017.
