Biography
Michael B. Jordan is an American actor, producer and director. He was born on 9 February 1987 in Santa Ana, California.
Jordan began his career in television, with roles including Wallace in the first season of The Wire (2002), a regular part in the soap opera All My Children (2003–2006) and a lead role in the series Friday Night Lights (2009–2011). His film breakthrough came with Fruitvale Station (2013). He is known for playing Adonis Creed in the Creed films, including Creed (2015), Creed II (2018) and Creed III (2023), the last of which marked his directorial debut; he also produced Creed III. Other notable roles include Erik Killmonger in Black Panther (2018) and the dual lead of Smoke and Stack in Sinners (2025).
Jordan has received an Academy Award for his performance in Sinners.
